Goals for 2008-2009
Administration/Communication
- Promote the Website.
- Make it more inviting and creative.
- Create and implement a regional event.
- "Regional Jamboree" or simply, "Regional Event".
- Better the communication.
- Regional President > Area Presidents > Council Presidents > Crew Presidents.
- Keep a binder complete with contacts of Councils and Crews.
- Keep accurate records of events, travels, reimbursements, etc.
- Create an email address and binders of records, information, etc which will be handed over to the next regional president.
- Promote the use of facebook groups.
Regional/Area Development
- Promote, assist, and encourage Venturing Officers Associations to form within the councils.
- Plan and implement an Area Officers Seminar/Training.
- Regularly communicate with Area officers to gain an understanding of and monitor the progression of their goals.
- Motivate Venturers to run for Area positions and Area officers to run for Regional president.
Program
- Attend all trainings, meetings, and events which I am invited to.
Membership
- Recruitment. *We cannot control but can effect positively.
Marketing
- Promote the program.
- Promote Advancement.
- Promote Trainings.
